It provides users to book an available time slot (for example, appointments or consultations) before starting a chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This field also includes an integrated calendar and time picker, helping us capture scheduling details upfront and start conversations with clear context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adding-the-date-field\">Adding the Date Field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To add the Date Field to the greeting form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Click to Chat \u2192 Greetings<\/strong> in the plugin settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Greeting Form<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the <strong>Date<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clicktochat.techponder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Greeting-Form-Date-Field.webp\" alt=\"Greetings form date field\" class=\"wp-image-7215\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5822002472187886;width:484px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set the field Name(for example &#8211; <em>Set the  appointment<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark the field as Required &amp; Add to Prefilled message if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"date-field-settings\">Greetings Form &#8211; Date Field Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All configuration options are available under <strong>Date Field Settings<\/strong> in the plugin dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clicktochat.techponder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Date-field-settings-1024x656.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7251\" style=\"width:514px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have two types of Date field settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Date Mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule(Date+Time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"date-mode\">Date Mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Allows users to select only a date (no time), making it ideal for cases where the exact time is not required and only the preferred or available date needs to be captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the date mode select Date Only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clicktochat.techponder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Date-Only.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7217\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4.408835642081617;width:692px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"min-and-max-dates\">Min and Max Dates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Min Date sets the earliest selectable date, and Max Date sets the latest selectable date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can use relative days (for example <code>2<\/code> = 2 days from today, <code>7<\/code> = next 7 days) or a specific date (<code>YYYY-MM-DD<\/code>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If today is <strong>Feb 6<\/strong> Min Date = <code>2<\/code> and Max Date = <code>7<\/code>, users can select dates <strong>only from Feb 8 to Feb 13<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clicktochat.techponder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Min-and-Max-Dates.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7218\" style=\"aspect-ratio:2.9542895744201756;width:703px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the frontend, clicking the Date field opens the browser\u2019s default date picker for date selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"355\" height=\"469\" src=\"https:\/\/holithemes.com\/plugins\/click-to-chat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Min-and-max-dates.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7264\" style=\"width:248px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/holithemes.com\/plugins\/click-to-chat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Min-and-max-dates.webp 355w, https:\/\/holithemes.com\/plugins\/click-to-chat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Min-and-max-dates-227x300.webp 227w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"scheduler-mode\">Scheduler Mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scheduler (Date &amp; Dates after that are grayed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" preparation time before an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We can set the minimum number of hours required before a booking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slots within this notice period are disabled automatically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the minimum notice is <strong>2 hours<\/strong> and the current time is <strong>10:00 AM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All slots before <strong>12:00 PM today<\/strong> are disabled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slots on later days remain available based on the defined defines the time gap between each slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Slots are generated automatically based on the selected duration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The last slot is generated only if it fits completely within the available time range<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Availability: <strong>9:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM<\/strong><br>Duration: <strong>60 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generated slots: 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last slot starts at <strong>4:00 PM<\/strong>, so the appointment finishes by <strong>5:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" device<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The selected date, time, and time zone are added to the message<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check <strong>Add to pre-filled message<\/strong> right after the selected date field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"example\">Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a user selects <strong>February 5 2026, 1:30 PM<\/strong> and their time zone is <strong>IST<\/strong>, the
