Click to Chat Pro is the premium version of the Click to Chat Plugin and requires an active license key to install updates. Update notifications may appear even without activation, but the plugin cannot be updated unless a valid license is activated.

Check in Plugins Page to update
- Go to Dashboard → Plugins.
- Look for Click to Chat PRO in the list.
- If a new version is available, We will see an Update Now notice below the plugin name.
If we see the Update Now, We can proceed with updating (license must be active — explained below).
Check in Dashboard → Updates
Sometimes WordPress delays update checks due to caching or scheduled update intervals.
If we don’t see the update in the Plugins page:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Updates.
- Click Check Again.
- Refresh the page.
If an update is available, Click to Chat Pro will be listed there.
Latest Version From Shop Account
If we need the latest version immediately, we can download it from our Shop account. We will find the downloadable files on the Downloads page download it and activate the Pro plugin to apply the new features and improvements.
How to install the Click to Chat PRO Plugin
Activate License (Required for Updating)
Even if we see the update notification, Please activate your license key to update the plugin.
How to get the License key and Activate it
After we got the License key, Navigate to Click to Chat. On the right side, locate the Software License section and Activate the key.
Once the license status shows as Activated, the plugin becomes eligible for updates.
If License Is Inactive/Expired
- We will not be able to install new versions.
- We need to activate or renew the license to receive updates.
