Add the WhatsApp number along with the country code.
Example:
- The United States country code is +1 with area code 408 and phone number 456-7890! You can write it as 14084567890
- The Singapore country code is +65 (Singapore has no area codes in place) and the phone number is 1234-5678, You can write it as 6512345678
This phone number must have an active account on WhatsApp.
If the number is changed at page level settings or at localization plugins (wpml, polylang), Add WhatsApp number with Country code
