When a user clicks the chat widget, the Click to Chat plugin’s Random Number feature instantly connects them with a randomly chosen WhatsApp number from your preset list (added at the admin settings). This helps distribute support requests evenly among your team. This ensures an even distribution of incoming messages among your support team.

How to Set Up the Random Number Feature:
Access the Random Number Settings:
- Navigate to the Click to Chat plugin settings.

- At the WhatsApp Number section.
Add WhatsApp Numbers:
- Use the “+ Add Random Number” option to include additional numbers for rotation.
- Enter each agent’s WhatsApp number.
- Ensure all numbers are active and valid.

Random Number Feature Types
We offer two types of random number distribution for WhatsApp numbers added to the widget.
- To set up the random number type, click on the Random Number Type (collapsed section). It will expand and show a dropdown—select the desired type from the list
Pure Random
- In this mode, when WhatsApp numbers are added using the Add WhatsApp Number option, each number is treated independently.
- Every time a visitor clicks the WhatsApp widget, one of the added numbers is selected at random — without following any specific order or pattern.
- The selection does not depend on previous user interactions
Sequence
- In this mode, the WhatsApp numbers added via the random number field are stored in a sequential order in the database.
- The first visitor is redirected to the first number in the sequence.
- The next visitor (even from a different IP address or device) will be redirected to the next number in the list.
- This continues in a round-robin fashion — ensuring an even distribution across all added numbers.
- Ideal for teams or agents who want a balanced rotation of incoming messages across numbers.
Save Changes
- After entering all desired numbers, click “Save” to apply the changes.
